Understanding Concierge Medicine

Why Concierge Medicine?

The average primary care doctor has 2,500 patients. Ours has 50. That's not a typo. It's the whole point.

How Concierge Medicine Works

You pay an annual or monthly membership fee for access to your physician. This fee covers the time and availability — not specific procedures.

Membership Fee

A flat monthly or annual fee gives you access to your physician. Think of it as a retainer for your health.

Insurance Still Works

You still use your insurance for labs, imaging, specialist visits, and hospitalizations. The fee is for access.

Better Outcomes

Fewer patients = more time = earlier detection, better prevention, and proactive care instead of reactive medicine.

Common Misconceptions

Concierge medicine is only for the ultra-wealthy

Many concierge practices cost less per month than a gym membership. It's an investment in access and quality, not luxury.

I already have insurance — why would I pay more?

Concierge fees cover access and time, not procedures. You still use insurance for labs, imaging, and specialist visits. The fee buys you a doctor who actually has time for you.

It's the same care, just more expensive

It's fundamentally different care. Fewer patients = longer visits, same-day access, and a physician who proactively manages your health instead of reactively treating problems.

I'll lose my current medications / referrals

Your concierge physician manages your medications and coordinates specialist referrals. Most patients find coordination actually improves.

“I didn't go into medicine to see 30 patients a day and forget their names. I went into medicine to take care of people. Concierge lets me do that.”
