Do I still use my health insurance?

How is concierge medicine different from direct primary care (DPC)?
Both models involve a membership fee, but concierge medicine typically works alongside your existing insurance. Direct primary care usually replaces insurance for primary care services. In a concierge practice, you still bill insurance for covered services — the membership covers the access, availability, and extended time that insurance doesn't pay for.
